· Spelling
Spelling and punctuation rules must be obeyed whenever making an editing
or an addiction. The first character of the album and song names must
be capital and the rest must be in lower case. Conjunctions (and, or etc.)
must be in lower case. Certainly avoid of editing completely in upper
case.
Example: As in the form "Arabs with Knives and West German Skies"
Singer info, album info, song info parts has to be in the language whichever
the singer sings the song. If you are an editor of an English singer,
never use different language.
There is no objection to use special characters that your internet browser's
language is in.
You can learn your browser's language by using the menus Tools > Internet
Options > Languages. If you want to edit in a language except yours,
then you have to be careful that the language option you want to use is
the highest one. It's a condition for visitors' seeing the writings in
the right form in their language.
· Adding and Editing an Album
The singer(s) lists that you're an editor of in the editor main page.
Clicking singer name links, the albums of the singer lists. If the album
you'll add is not in the list, you can add it by clicking the "Add
New Album" link. I an album record window you've to edit the name
of the album obeying the spelling rules. The year info must be entered
in parenthesis in the album info part. If it is necessary, other explanations
can be written out of parenthesis. At the end, checking out the accuracy
of the editing, you record it to the data base by clicking the save button.
Clicking by the editing link next to the albums in singer page, you can
change the album name and album info. Then you can record the new form
to the data base by clicking the save button.
Avoid of deleting a record as far as possible. To solve the problem by
editing must be the priority aim.
· Adding and Editing a Song
By clicking an album listed in the singer record, you reach to the song
list belong to tis album. If you added a new album, then no song is seen
under that album. You can add the songs in the album by clicking the "Add
New Song" link. You see that the singer and album names are seen
by it self in the new song record page. After filling the row number,
name of the song, song info and lyrics parts, you record the song to the
data base by clicking save button.
Row numbers must be the same of the row numbers in the album. If you edit
an album that exists of double compact discs or in different edia types
(dvd etc.), the first song of the second cd must get the next row number
of the last song in first album. For examle: if first cd exists of 11
songs, then the row number of the first song of second cd must be 12.
The song name must be recorded without changing the spelling and making
abbreviations. The first character of the words must be capital , and
the rest must be in lower case. The complete and correct song names will
be an easiness for our visitors to reach their search. If there are two
songs qwning the same name, the right choice is indicating the difference
in parenthesis.
For example: As in the form "Baby's Got a Temper [Dub Mix]"
First of all, total time of song must be in song info part in parenthesis.
Afterwards, you can you can give place to the lyric writer and composer
names. It must be your choice to write in this field without using "enter"
key, in a straight form for a nice look.
Lyrics are written in lyrics field. Lyrics must not be in the form like
in the album cab. Lyrics must be written in the form like the song is
sang. Repetitions, bridges and other details must be indicated in lyrics.
If you have a comment related to song, you can record it at the end in
the lower part you created that is separated with four dashes (----) in
the form "Editor's Note:", so you can share it with the visitors.
But never forget that this part is open to share and everybody using the
internet can read it. You are responsiple for everything you wrote in
this part, LogLar.com does not take any responsibility in this case.
· Log In and Log Out
You can enter the system by using the "http://www.loglar.com/editor/index.php"
link. Your user name is your e-mail address and it can not be changed.
You choose your own password. Please pay attention to use the log out
link when exiting. It's a sign that you exit from the editor pages for
the system and it does not give permission for malicious persons. For
that reason please use the log out link when exiting.
· Links
Forget Password: In this part, you'll see the "Password Request Form",
after entering the e-mail address and clicking the send my password button
your password will be sent to your e-mail address. Never share your password
with anyone else and never give it to anyone else. Prevent anyone to see
your password when you are entering it.
Main Page: the page of the singer(s) that you are the editor of.
Change Password: It is the part for changing your password that you use
in entering LogLar.com. After entering the old and the new passwords,
your password will be changed by clicking the change button. After that
you can only log in to system by your new password by now.
Change Settings: In this part, you can edit your name, surname, nickname
and the language you use.
Additionally Be An Editor Of An Other Singer: If you think that you got
enough addings and arrangement in the singer that you are an editor of,
then you can be an editor of different singers by this link. There is
no need to fill in a form as you did in your first request to be an editor.
Only to write the name of the singer that you want to be the editor of
is enough. Never forget that to be accepted or not is related to the performance
you show in the singer you are the editor of. Everytime request only for
one singer.
Log Out: The link that you must use when you are exiting the system.
· Shortcuts
If you're editing songs in a queue under a new album, instead of using
the "Add New Song" link in album page opened by the link after
clicking the record button, you can do it in this way: after using the
record button, turn a page back with the back button in internet explorer,
change the infos with the newer ones and click to the save button. In
this case a new song is added to the data base.
The point that you have to pay attention to is to wait until the page
is completed after you click the save button and to see the word "New"
on the explorer address line after clicking the back button. If the word
"New" is not seen, and there are a series of numbers instead
of it, then it means that you are not making new records. In this case
you have to go back to the page you want and continue from there. Never
use this shortcut when editing.
· Singer, Album and Song Info
In the singer info part, you can write the things about the singer that
you want to share with the visitors. For example member names of the group,
birthdate of the singer and something like that.The point you have to
pay attention here is to write these infos in a straight line without
using "enter" key. Take pain to write in the language used in
the country that the singer is citizen of. Don't enter singer info in
an other language.
In the album info part, the year that the album is published must be written
in parenthesis. If there are some other album infos (Double cd, DVD etc.)
that you want to add, then you can addthem in to this place. You must
write these infos in a straight line without using "enter" key.
The total time of the song must be written in parenthesis in the song
info part. After that, you can give place to infos like name of the lyrics
writer, composer and other like that. If you are entering an English album,
never write out the song info in different languages. If you are entering
an English song info, it must be in the form "(3:18) Lyrics - Music:
Nelly and Waige Yangham".
· Privacy Policy
Any info you gave us for being a LogLar.com editor will not be given
to third persons and will never be published. Only your nickname will
be shown in LogLar.com. The e-mail's from the visitors can be forwarded
to your e-mail address, so in this case your e-mail address will be a secret
till you reply to the visitors e-mail. The visitor sees your e-mail address
if you reply to the visitor's e-mail.
